I usually don't talk about movies but this caught me by surprise. Was lazing the Saturday away flipping through channels and I happen on this movie. It's not the first time I came across it. Being no big fan of Michelle Yeoh I skipped it. But that day I wanted to hear the Chinese language. Being away from my culture do that to me sometimes. You can call it home sick. Thus I just let the movie play over the tv.
The movie turned out so nice! Awesome!! The kungfu scenes kick ass and doesn't use much of special effects. Much like how Jackie Chan or Donnie Yen movies do it. And you won't know Michelle Yeoh is over 40 with the way the way she moves. She does all her kungfu stunts herself. She really Boleh! I thought this would be like the Donnie Yen Assassin movie (sorry Moo) but there is twist to it. I won't tell you and spoil the movie. Don't even think about googling it if you intend to give it a chance. I only have one hint for you - it's always the quiet ones.
Enjoy.

Haha... I watched this movie during the Dumpling Day@lunch time - by HR. It was real good - enjoyed the movie though I dun like Michelle Yeoh. Wanted to BLOG bout it but I forgot the name of the movie coz they gave chinese name. I like the reality of the movie, where sometimes LIFE is just destined... twist n turn, due to fate, certain things cannot be avoided... and there's lots of humour here and there to keep you entertained along the way... i remembered the part about the 'magician fighter'... if u wanna learn something.. learn it well... n not halfway... it will kill you... coz he learn half kungfu n half magic...kekeke...so funny!
orh, you also watched it. Yes it was unexpectedly good.
